@codyferd use ublock origin lite extension and change its filtering setting to optimal. It will block all ads on youTube.

On mobile vivadli add these 4 lists to block ads on youTube.

Yes ,this is a very much needed function in Vivaldi Android. I hope the developers will add this feature in future.

The contract with private windows is that they cleanup your navigation history and cookies. But they need to use your browser settings, otherwise you wouldn't be able to use the same keyboard shortcuts or the tabs would behave differently, for example.

You can create a new profile for what you want - those have a completely separate set of settings. Just click on the picture at the top right of the browser and you can easily alternate between them.

I agree, I would love that too. For example, statistics like my opera.

I don't think shipping extensions by default is necessary, rather implement this into the privacy protection features in the browser.

We also need exception list to disabled some blocked rules for certain domain.

Please just copy UBO & uMatrix features. There are no shame in copying & improve upon the best of the best. 😉
